Drs. Narong & Lattee Chinakarn To Retire

Effective Oct. 1, 2015, Narong Chinakarn, M.D., will retire from practicing medicine at Trinity Health System. His wife, Lattee Chinakarn, M.D., a well-known and highly respected pediatrician in this community, has announced she will also retire from her practice and the Trinity Health System effective Sept. 30, 2015.

Dr. Narong Chinakarn was appointed to the medical staff of Trinity Health System on Nov. 25, 1975. During the course of his 40-year career, he was a leader in the specialty of obstetrics and gynecology, where he served as chairman. He also served on the Medical Staff Executive Committee and numerous other committees. He provided high-quality obstetric and gynecological care over his 40 years of service, faithfully serving the Trinity Health System and the people of Jefferson County.

Trinity Health System is most grateful to Dr. Narong Chinakarn for his dedication and years of faithful service. With great pride, Trinity Health System applauds him and extends its kindest wishes for this well-deserved retirement.

More than 30 years ago, on June 26, 1984, Trinity Health System gladly welcomed Dr. Lattee Chinakarn to our medical staff. Always a champion and a clear voice for the care of our children, she was very active in pediatric and adolescent services at Trinity, where she served as chairperson.

Dr. Lattee Chinakarn also served consecutively for 20+ years as a member of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. She has been continually recognized as one of the great pediatricians in our community, serving our children with tremendous skill and great compassion.

Trinity Health System would like to sincerely thank Dr. Lattee Chinakarn for her years of devotion and excellent medical care. Trinity Health System would like to congratulate her on her tremendous career and record of caring in this region. We wish her the absolute best in her retirement.
