Carol Bonar, director, EEG, was formally inducted into ASET- The Neurodiagnostic Society last month in Asheville, North Carolina.
ASET is the largest national professional association for individuals involved in the study of electrical activity in the brain and nervous system. Carol attended the society’s business meeting and award luncheon to accept her award on Friday, August 22.
ASET (American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technology) was organized in 1959 and their mission is to provide leadership, advocacy and professional excellence for members, creating greater awareness of the profession and establishing standards and best practices to ensure quality patient care.
Carol joined ASET in 1974 and has only missed five annual conferences since then. She was appointed Historian for the Society in 1989 and was later appointed Archivist in 1995.
Carol was notified in June of her election into the society by Arlen G. Reimnitz, executive director at ASET- The Neurodiagnostic Society.
