Energizer/Defibrillator

The Energizers is a support group of those persons that have implanted defibrillators. They meet the fourth Tuesday of every month in the Boardroom at Trinity East. Speakers are arranged to come in and address the group each month. Those attending the meetings will be able to learn about the proper care of their device and share common experiences they have had since getting their implanted defibrillator.

* The implanted defibrillator is sometimes referred to as ICD (Implanted Cardiac Defibrillator). It regulates rhythm disturbances of the heart and when necessary it delivers an electrical shock to the heart to return it to its normal rhythm.
