The Purpose of Community CPR

Effective Emergency Cardiac Care depends on the strong links of early access to care, early CPR, and early EMS response for defibrillation and advanced care. Promptly initiated CPR may return the victim to a productive life.

Providing CPR training maximizes not only community knowledge of CPR techniques, but also the understanding of risk factors and prudent heart living.
