TRINITY RADIOLOGY ANNOUNCES NEW 64 SLICE CT SCANNER

Trinity Radiology is pleased to announce the recent upgrade to a state-of-the-art 64 slice Computed Tomography (CT) Scanner. The Brilliance 64 slice upgrade features advanced technology that produces faster, higher quality images that permit doctors to see more anatomical detail in a fraction of the time needed by more conventional scanners. This allows physicians to more effectively detect and treat a range of illnesses. It allows them the opportunity of more treatment options when a disease is discovered at an earlier stage. It also provides faster assessment in trauma cases. The new machine produces faster scanning times which allows for a more pleasant patient experience. Additionally, patients up to 440 lbs. can be safely and effectively imaged. The upgraded technology also allows for reducing the dose of radiation to children during a CT exam.
