PET THERAPY: A REASON TO PAWS FOR REFLECTION

On April 6th, senior students from the Trinity Health System School of Nursing volunteered their time and pets to offer Pet Therapy on the Skilled Nursing Units at Trinity Medical Center East. According to research, Pet Therapy is the therapeutic use of pets to promote healing and recovery for patients suffering from physical and emotional ailments and moreover, to simply provide love. Pet Therapy is an ongoing community service promoted by the School.
